Double question and exclamation marks

Did you know that Spanish is the only language that has double question and exclamation marks? Since the orthography done in 1754 the rule was to use double marks in long sentences, while they used only the final mark when the sentence was a short one. As the difference between long and short sentences was a bit confusing, in 1870 the Academy finally decided to always use both marks.
